We Waited 8 Years For The Xbox One?

Hugely disappointed after Microsoft’s announcement of the new Xbox One yesterday, which is coming sometime this year. It took Microsoft 8 years to build what looks like and has the features of a knockoff cable box. Sure it may have better processing power and a better graphics engine, along with more storage capacity, but there will be NO backwards capability with Xbox 360 games (which is absolutely ridiculous), used games will require an unlock fee to be played (yeah that means no point to sharing games with friends anymore), and it has to be connected to the xbox1-specsinternet at least once a day. So yea either I can pay for a $500 console with better graphics and have to completely restock my entire game collection, or I can stick with the 360 with which I have no major complaints and it satisfies all my needs. I know I’ll probably end up being one somewhere down the line but that will be after the initial price surge goes down. I don’t really know exactly what I was expecting going into this announcement but it’s safe to say that this was a major letdown.
