Washington Post – The Oak Brook, Ill.-based company had said earlier this year that it was evaluating whether to continue selling the Angus Third Pounders, which were introduced in 2009 and are among the chain’s priciest items. The company also said at the time that it was it was cutting Chicken Selects and Fruit & Walnut Salad.
Big move for McDonald’s here to make up for the cannibalism their dollar menu is causing. I was never really a huge fan of the fruit & walnut salad so that move is understandable. The Angus Burger always seemed a little pricey when I’m just trying to get my dank on with some dollar menu burgers. So obviously screw that too. Governor-Chay might disagree because I know his fatass always aimed for the item with the most calories and strived for an assortment of Big Macs and Angus Bungers, sad to say I won’t be able to see that malnourished giant consume any more Angus Burgers. Forme, I think the chicken selects is the biggest part of this story. The title is all about the angus but I was a huge fan of the chicken selects. Whenever I wasn’t trying to look like a damn toddler eating chicken nuggets, I always opted for the more grownup selects and they definitely went above and beyond in satisfying me. Well damn. At least their new Buffalo McChicken will do me some good in the meantime.
