To be honest with you I’ve seen this video go viral all day (pertaining to Jason Collins coming out) and just basically ignored it. I just got around to watching it and didn’t realize he grouped homosexuality, pre-marital sex, fornication, and adultery all as open rebellions against God. Welp. I guess most of us are walking that line then.
But seriously I appreciate the Bible but we have to be logical and realize it was written over 2000 years ago by people who did not live in the same culture and the same way we do now. Even documents like the Constitution aren’t perfect right when they’re written and they are adapted over time to fit the present, that’s why there are amendments. I don’t know how ESPN can have this dumbass on here openly saying stuff like this. We’ll see how the sports world, and all other outlets, continue to react.
